How to get Game ROMs

There are generally two way to get Game ROMs. In first method, If you have cartridges of old games, you can use cartridge reading device to extract the ROMs files to your computer. In other method, go to ROM websites like Emulatorgames.net, Archive.org, Romspedia, Retrostic etc. and download ROM files for your favorite classic games. For example. 

A. At first, go to Emulatorgames.net.

B. Click on the ROMs section on the top left corner.

How to use RetroArc on PC

RetroArch supported various emulator for retro games, but set up process is not so convenient. For playing games in RetroArch , it is prerequisite to download the emulator (called Core) as well as the ROM or ISO file for the game. Here is the process to download the RetroArc program as follow:

I. At first visit RetroArch.com and , select the download tab at the top. If the website detect your operating system automatically, then select Download Stable to download the stable version for your operating system. If not, then is scroll down and then select program for your operating system.

2. Now double click on the downloaded file of RetroArch and start the installation process.

3. Now open the RetroArch  and select Load Core

4. Select the download care.

5. Now scroll down the list of emulators and then select your desired emulator.

7. Now, you need to locate your game and then select the ROM file or ISO file for your favourite game.

How to save state of Games

If you want to save your game at any particular point of time, then go to Command then select Save State option and then select Save  State.If you want to load a saved game, then go to the same selection process and select Load State. Note: if you want to switch games or emulator, then go to File then select Load Core or  File > Load Content.

How to configure RetroArch
